Keynote Remarks: Zakia Abbe!   Zakia Abbe has just graduated from Southern Connecticut State University “Class of 2022”. What makes Zakia's story inspiring is she was one of the first group of graduates from ARAHA’s first and only high school in the largest Eritrean refugee camp in Sudan, The Shagerab Camp. After she graduated from high school, ARAHA offered her a scholarship to a Sudanese University where she studied Chemistry & Biology at the University of Kassala. While she was in college, her family got a resettlement opportunity in the US in 2017, where she then attended Southern Connecticut State University.
