Housing for Eritrean Refugees in Sudan

We have broken ground!
The central reason for this lifesaver campaign is the poor quality of shelters for families in this region. Many shelters are built from sticks and grass. This makes the shelters liable to catch fire and burn during times of very dry weather. Building these houses with brick and metal roofing makes them far more stable and reliable for each family. Additionally, these houses will have more than one room, creating more space and increased livelihood for each family.
We are so appreciative of everyone’s generous support; we were able to exceed our fundraising expectations! Construction of the housing units will begin soon, and we’ll keep you updated on the progress.
