The war in Sudan has forced millions of people to flee their homes in search of safety and basic necessities. As a result, thousands of people are now living in overcrowded camps or makeshift shelters with limited access to clean water, food, and medical care. The situation is dire and urgent action is needed to help these vulnerable populations.
Emergency support is crucial to provide them with the basic necessities they need to survive. This includes providing shelter, food, clean water, sanitation facilities, and healthcare services. Aid organizations on the ground are working tirelessly to address these needs, but they need support from individuals, governments, and the international community.
By providing emergency support, we can help ease their suffering and ensure that they have access to the most basic necessities. Every donation can make a difference in the lives of those who have been affected by this crisis. Together, we can provide hope and a brighter future for the war refugees who have lost so much.
EMC (Eritrean Muslims Council) Relief Group Is starting its 12th annual Ramadan and Eid Campaign. During this month EMC Relief Group would like to raise funds to help Eritrean refugees by providing food baskets, Eid gifts for orphans.
This project has been ongoing for years and the achievements that have been made would not possible without your kind support. Barik Allah fikum
This year, we're asking for your continued support along with your friends and family to help us reach the goal of $25,000 by the end of Ramadan to:
* Feed 100 families
* Put a smile on 200 kids with an Eid gift
* Provide sanitary pads for 315 female students so they don't miss a day at school
Cost:
* Food Basket = $100 (will feed a family of 5 for one month).
* Eid Gift = $25 (will provide one child with clothes/shoes/toys/candy).
* Female sanitary supply= $20 (will provide one student supply for an entire year)
* Any remaining funds will be used to benefit Eritrean refugee projects.

Few humans have lived through utter destitute, political marginalization and unthinkable living conditions like Eritrean refugees in eastern Sudan. As fate had it, they were forced to abandon their beautiful villages and towns in Eritrea seeking refugee from skies raining bombs, ground set ablaze to settle ion unforgiving desert in Eastern Sudan for last 50 years.
Project “Orphan R Us” is led by Eritrean Americans from Southern California area who aspire to bring relief and empowerment to orphans dwelling in these refugee Camps.
Our Goal is to sponsor 20 orphans every year. The cost to sponsor an orphan is $50 a month which will cover the basic need of food, shelter and school material.
We ask that you make a commitment to support this noble cause. Remember that every donation makes a difference, regardless of size.

Unlike other disasters, starvation is a disaster that strikes slowly and quietly. For those who have been listening and watching, the numbers are scary.
ARAHA's mission is to alleviate suffering and to build Self-Reliance in the Horn of Africa. The 6th consecutive low rain seasons has created the recipe for one of the worst disasters in the region yet to be seen. We at ARAHA believe that this is completely preventable and choose to setup to take the challenge.
