Disease, injury, and chronic health issues are more widespread in the Horn than medical facilities can handle; many people lack access to hospitals or clinics that could handle treatable symptoms and must instead live with their health problems. ARAHA has stepped in to provide what it can. From surgical supply deliveries to hospitals, to vaccines for those hit by a wave of cholera, to a traveling medical convoy for cataract surgery and disease prevention, we’re finding creative ways to make people healthy.
