Hiking Hijabies have come together to launch a campaign to sponsor 10 orphans for a year through ARAHA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to people affected by poverty, conflict, and natural disasters in the Horn of Africa.
The campaign aims to raise funds to support the basic needs of orphaned children, including food, shelter, clothing, healthcare, and education. The fundraising goal for the campaign is $6,000, which covers the sponsorship of 10 orphans for a year. The cost to sponsor an orphan is $50 a month, which includes monthly reports and updates on the child’s progress, as well as the opportunity to build a relationship with the child through letters and photos.
