Teachers play an essential role in the education and development of a child. They act not just as educators, but as mentors, role models, and guides. And yet in certain communities of the Horn, teachers are underpaid or subjected to payment at irregular intervals. With our teacher sponsorship program, donors can sponsor the salary of a teacher for only $200 per month, and in doing so ensure a stable existence for an educator and a quality education for many students.
