A Community in Crisis
For over 50 years, the Haro Hunte Health Center in Oromia, Ethiopia, has been the heartbeat of its community. But when a tree fell and destroyed the building, more than 25,000 people—many from nearby rural areas—lost their only reliable source of healthcare. Now, residents must walk long distances to already overcrowded clinics, putting countless lives at risk.
Why It’s Urgent
– Thousands of families have no local healthcare options.
– Nearby facilities are stretched beyond capacity.
– The local Health Administration is ready to help by adding 14 healthcare workers (previously only 6) and a licensed engineer.
– Skilled volunteers will lead construction, and materials are subsidized.
How You Can Help
Despite these efforts, the community cannot afford to rebuild alone. Your donation, of any amount, will go directly toward reopening the Haro Hunte Health Center. Every dollar brings us one step closer to restoring vital healthcare services and renewing hope for everyone in Haro Hunte.
Make a Difference
Join us in this medical emergency. A gift from you will have a lifesaving impact on thousands of people who need care now more than ever. Together, we can rebuild the Haro Hunte Health Center and bring health and hope back to this community.
